DLC needed modern, stigma-reducing language that unified their growing services and we helped them align their story across campaigns and an annual report built to strengthen fundraising confidence.
DLC had served the community for decades, but the language around mental health had evolved, stigma still shaped perceptions, and the organization was expanding services and locations. Their message needed to become current, credible, and unified—so the community understood behavioral health as accessible, whole-person care.
We partnered with DLC to refine their positioning and terminology, shifting from “mental health clinic” language to a behavioral health umbrella that could hold every service in one clear story. We then supported communications designed to increase trust and make action easier for every audience. That included revamping their annual report as a donor-forward fundraising asset—one piece of a broader strategy that supported giving through events and ongoing campaigns.
